Rethinking Economics and the St. Gallen Collegium invite you to an evening of reflection on economic growth, and it’s spell on the human imagination. We will explore the ideas and narratives that make growth appear both inevitable and desirable, and how these shape our understanding of freedom and political orders.

The evening begins with a lecture by Dr. Andreas Lingg on economic growth in the Republic of Venice, followed by a panel discussion with Collegium Fellows and scholars, moderated by Prof. Claudia Brühwiler. The event concludes with an Apéro.
